Our journey, which began humbly in 1946 during a time of great need, has grown into a remarkable legacy of trust, service, and social commitment.
From our beginnings as a Producer-Cum-Consumer Society combating food scarcity, to becoming a powerful financial institution with a share capital of ₹18.7 crores and deposits exceeding ₹1236 crores, we have remained steadfast in our mission: to empower communities through inclusive, people-focused banking.
Today, with a vibrant membership of over 2.5 lakh and a strong network of 24 branches, we serve not just as a bank, but as a catalyst for progress — reaching into sectors such as healthcare, education, pharmaceuticals, and infrastructure development. Our ventures like MCRB Pharma, premium auditoriums, and unwavering support for co-operative initiatives demonstrate our holistic approach to community building.
We were pioneers in many respects — from launching Kerala’s first branch of a primary co-operative bank in 1960, to introducing member welfare funds, and providing essential food supplies during critical times. Our values remain grounded in integrity, transparency, and service.
